What you will do
- Collect signed agreements, IDs and supporting documents from claimants and check them against each state's requirements.
- Prepare the claim packet for review and track every claim's status and deadline.
- Send claimants clear updates about what is still needed.
What you need
- Strong written communication by email, text and chat.
- Careful with details. You check your own work before it goes out.
- Reliable internet, a computer and a phone you can use for work.
- Authorized to work in the United States and living in the U.S.
How pay works
- Paid per hour or per assignment. The rate is in your written offer before you start.
- This is an independent contractor (1099) role, not employment. You set your own hours, use your own phone and computer, and are responsible for your own taxes.
