JobGiant is a job aggregator. This page explains where the listings come from, how they are cleaned up, and what the numbers on the site mean. It exists so you can judge the index for yourself.
Listings arrive through three channels. First, employer applicant tracking systems: we read the public job boards that companies host on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and SmartRecruiters. Second, public job APIs and boards, including Remotive, Adzuna, Careerjet, Jooble, The Muse, USAJobs, and RemoteOK. Third, employers post jobs directly on JobGiant. Each listing on the site names its source next to the company name, and external apply buttons link to the employer's own page.
The same opening often appears on several feeds. Incoming listings are matched on a key built from the job title, the company name, and the location. When two records share that key they are merged into one listing, so a role shows up once even if three sources carried it.
Some sources send a closing date with the posting. When a listing has one, it is removed from public pages and sitemaps after that date. When no date is supplied, the listing is treated as valid for 45 days from its posting date, which is the window shown to search engines in the structured data. A listing can still be filled earlier than that; the employer controls the opening, not us.
State, city, role, category, and company pages exist only when at least five live listings back them. Below that minimum the page returns a 404 instead of a thin list. Counts, pay ranges, and the remote share on those pages are computed from the live rows each time the page is rebuilt, not written by hand.
Salary ranges are shown only when the employer's posting includes them. The take-home figures on job pages are estimates that start from the posted range and apply published tax rates for the state; they are labeled as estimates on the page. Where a posting lists no pay, JobGiant shows "Not listed" rather than guessing a salary.
Aggregation has limits. A listing can lag the employer's own site by hours or days, a posting can be filled before it expires here, and job details belong to the employer who wrote them. JobGiant does not guarantee that any opening is still available, and listing a company does not mean that company endorses JobGiant. If you spot a listing that is wrong or outdated, tell us through the contact page and the research desk will check it.
