Draft — pending counsel review
JobGiant, a Start My Business Inc. company. How we expect browser storage and similar tools to be used.
Last updated: October 24, 2026
This draft needs a technical cookie inventory and legal review. It does not describe a working consent-preference tool. Optional analytics or advertising tools should not launch until the inventory and any required consent controls are complete.
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Similar browser storage can remember a session, protect an account, or retain a preference. Some last only for a browser session; others remain until they expire or are deleted.
Essential storage supports sign-in, account security, and core site functions. Functional storage may remember preferences. JobGiant uses Clerk for authentication, so Clerk may set cookies needed for its sign-in and security features.
The final policy must name actual cookies, providers, purposes, and retention periods after the technical inventory is complete.
Following an external listing or application link takes you to another service. That service may use its own cookies under its own policies and controls.
Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in, account security, forms, or saved preferences from working.
