About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems
Anthropic is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to serve as a dedicated communications partner to our Core Tech organization (the teams building and securing the systems behind Claude, from engineering and infrastructure to security). Depending on your background and where the need is greatest, your portfolio might center on security, on engineering more broadly, or span both - we'll shape that together during the hiring process.
Internal communications at Anthropic is not a support function that plans meetings and sends newsletters. The best people in this role operate like advisors who embed themselves deeply in the orgs they support, earn a seat at the leadership table, write on behalf of executives, and see around corners, anticipating what the organization will need to hear before anyone asks for it.
There are traditional elements to the role too, like all-hands planning and org change announcements, and you'll run those with operational excellence. But the heart of the job is more creative and will require you to find ways to connect the rest of the company to some of the most consequential and least visible work at Anthropic, and making the line between that work and our mission clear and strong.
