Patient Technology Technician

Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hosp Central, US:CO:Colorado Springs Department: UCHlth Virtual Hlth Center PTT FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $18.83 - $28.25 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Summary: Provides clinical and technical real time support in an onsite virtual health center

Responsibilities

• Responds to clinical support requests.
• Determines nature and scope of customer issues and takes appropriate response.
• Monitors clinical areas for equipment needing service.
• Escalates issues to higher level technical support or management.
• Performs routine cleaning and inventory.
• Conducts visual inspections on basic medical equipment.
• Follows customer service policies and procedures, and adheres to and improves lean processes.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action

Requirements

Minimum Required Education: None required. Required Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire. Minimum Experience: None required.

Preferred: Telemetry or CNA experience. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
