Contract Student Worker - Data Analyst (20 hrs/wk)

Role overview

• We are seeking a Data Analyst to support the data systems and reporting that power our autonomous fleet operations.
• You'll transform vehicle telemetry, service logs, and operations data into clear insights that improve decision-making across operations, safety, and engineering teams.
• This role focuses on analytics, reporting, KPI development, and building accessible datasets and dashboards that help teams understand performance and drive improvements

Responsibilities

Analyze vehicle telemetry, service logs, dispatch data, and operational metrics to identify trends and actionable insights Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for fleet operations, safety, and engineering stakeholders Define, track, and report on KPIs related to fleet performance, mission success, readiness, and operational efficiency Ensure datasets used for analysis are accurate, well-structured, and reliable Required Qualifications Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field Experience with operational, logistics, or fleet-related data is a plus Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and analysis Proficiency in Python for data analysis and reporting preferred Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, or Power BI) Experience working with large datasets and transforming raw data into actionable insights Familiarity with Databricks or similar analytics platforms is a plus Program Requirements Construct live operational dashboards to visualize fleet health, downtime metrics, and operator efficiency metrics.
