Cognabase gives each customer their own PostgreSQL 16 database, 5 GB, with TLS and a private login, on servers the company owns and runs. There is one flat price and no usage meter, so the bill is the same in a quiet month and a busy one. Help customers connect, migrate and troubleshoot their Cognabase databases.
What you will do
- Answer connection, TLS and migration questions by email.
- Write short help articles for common problems.
What you need
- A clear, confident phone voice. You will record a short sample of a sales script as part of your application.
- Strong written communication by email, text and chat.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL clients.
- Reliable internet, a computer and a phone you can use for work.
- Authorized to work in the United States and living in the U.S.
How pay works
- Paid per hour or per assignment. The rate is in your written offer before you start.
- This is an independent contractor (1099) role, not employment. You set your own hours, use your own phone and computer, and are responsible for your own taxes.
